Looking Back at 2017!

In the words of 2chainz: “Look back it! Whoa! Look back it!” He was referring to the booty, but I am a referring to the year. I feel like my life changed a lot in 2017 and I made some improvements and had great adventures.

This year I started going to a lot of concerts for artists that I love. I used to think, “I wish I could go to concerts. I just have no money and they are so expensive”. However, I discovered that Atlanta has a lot of concert spots that are actually reasonably priced and that most of the artists I listen to are considered underground and new so their concert tickets range from $15-$50. The most expensive concert I went to was my boo The Weeknd and my friend had tickets so I didn’t really have to pay which was amaaaaazing!

I started a full time job doing audio visual. Now I can learn about lighting, audio, and video equipment at my own pace and further my career in the entertainment industry.

I finally bought my own camera so that I can start doing photography and creating short films.

Even though my car hydroplaned, the money from insurance allowed me to pay off my old car and buy another car.  Therefore, I don’t have a car note anymore.

I started paying on my loans and I am up to date with my debt.

And last, but not least I bought this blog. I had been wanting to buy a blog for a couple of years and I finally did it.

Although these seem like minor changes, they have improved my life for the better. I hope to continue my growth in 2018 as well. I basically feel like I was able to lay the foundation for the career that I want in the future.

What are some things that changed your life for the better in 2017?
